Magritte's Swan

A sort of homage to Magritte. Photomanipulation of my own photos, thanks.

I'll say it: Magritte is one of my favorite artists, and certainly my favorite Surrealist. Compared to other Surrealists such as Dali and de Chirico, Magritte's work is calm, majestic, and exudes a general feeling of quiet and peace. He also loved wordplay (you've probably seen his "Ceci n'est pas une pipe" painting at one point or another), and injected philosophy into his work.

My personal favorite Magritte painting is The Domain of Arnheim. Even the name, taken from a Poe short story, is evocative.

So, to make a long story short... a little Magritte tribute piece.
