Glyphons, and their larger cousins the zallingersaurs, are the survivors of the Polyglyphanodontidae, a lizard family that went extinct in our timeline. On Spec, the zallingersaurs are big, well-armed lizards, while glyphons are small, reptilian burrowers. This one excavates a complicated set of tunnels that houses an ecosystem of its own.

Kind of reminds me of the two-armed worm-lizards of Central America (genus Bipes).
